2023年12月12日，在美國地球物理學(xué)會（AGU）秋季年會期間，我院直偉教授因其在《Nature Climate Change》期刊上發(fā)表的研究文章《Widespread Deoxygenation in Warming Rivers》榮獲國際華人青年水科學(xué)協(xié)會（CYWater）頒發(fā)的Young Scientist Outstanding Paper Award。

國際華人青年水科學(xué)協(xié)會（International Association of Chinese Youth in Water Sciences，CYWater）是由華人青年水科學(xué)界于2011年發(fā)起的學(xué)術(shù)研究協(xié)會。其宗旨為促進(jìn)國內(nèi)外華人在水科學(xué)領(lǐng)域的合作，推進(jìn)世界范圍的水科學(xué)研究和教育。CYWater每年在美國AGU年會期間舉行冬季會議，在中國召開夏季會議。國際華人青年水科學(xué)協(xié)會（CYWater）每年評選出一項Best Paper Award和兩項Outstanding Paper Award。
