Ling Zhou, Professor, has been awarded College Young Teachers Fund of the Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation, Excellent Talents of Jiangsu Province 333 Program, Youth Science and Technology Talent Lifting Program of Jiangsu Province, and Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Jiangsu Province. His research interests include hydraulic transients in pipe system, hydraulics in Hydropower/Pump/Pumped Storage Station, Transient Flow in Urban Storm Sewers. He has published more than 60 papers. As the first author or the corresponding author, he published 15 papers in hydraulic TOP journals, Journal of Hydraulic Research-IAHR and Journal of Hydraulic Engineering-ASCE. As principal investigator, Ling Zhou was awarded 18 research grants, including four funds from National Natural Science Foundation of China and one fund from Specialized Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China. He was invited to be as the Editorial Board of Journal of Hydraulic Research-IAHR.
