Professor, doctoral supervisor, vice dean of Dayu College of Hohai University, member of Jiangsu Oceanic Society, member of AGU, member of IAHR, and member of Water Resources Committee. In 2015, he was selected as one of the “Six Talents Summit” programs of Jiangsu Province. His research interest lies in the study of the ecology of hyporheic zone and coastal zone. He has published more than 60 papers in Water Resources Research, Advance in Water Resource, Water Research, Geophysical Research Letters and other important academic journals. Among them, his paper published in Advance in Water Resource was selected as “China’s 100 Most Influential International Academic Papers” in 2010. He was granted with 20 invention patents and 12 utility model patents, and applied for 2 software copyrights. He has managed and participated in 12 scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Key Research and Development Program. He was also the scientific editor of Water Science and Engineering.
